Halloween in Venice: trick or treat?

Venice is enchanting in every season, but during Halloween it becomes even more mysterious. Foggy calli, historic palaces that seem straight out of a Gothic novel, the moon reflecting on the lagoon: it doesn’t take much to imagine the city as the perfect spooky setting.

A different kind of Halloween
Forget the usual costume parties: in Venice, Halloween is experienced by wandering through dimly lit campielli, listening to ghost stories passed down through the centuries, and letting yourself be surprised by the city’s unique atmosphere.
